Sequim, WA Update

It's been quite a while since writing on my blog. It seems there are a lot of social medias out there today to keep up with. I find that updating facebook and checking on that takes most of my time. Anyone agree?

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

We're back on track. A little sun, a few showers but much milder and more normal temperatures. We've had a few buyers and offers are being made. We're all waiting to see if there's an upswing in buying activity. Keep your fingers crossed!

14+ inches of snow in the blue hole! We had quite a few wild days before Thanksgiving but today the snow's gone, the golfers are out, walkers are out and all the schools are back in session. We've put up some holiday decorations and are gearing up for the ho, ho, ho.
Mild temps today in the 50's so hope for some sun again soon!

The weather is absolutely perfect for a visit to Sequim. We hiked at Hurricane Ridge and the views were fantastic. No matter what your hiking ability the visitor center is a wonderful place to visit. The wild flowers are still out and it looks like spring on the hillsides. Lots of visitors from out of the area were there which was fun to see. Come see me soon!

Hooray!! Our ladies golf team won 1st place in our local golf invitational at Cedars Dungeness. It was a beautiful day, the course was in great shape and the game was really fun-jokers wild. On a work note the market is slowing perking up with home sales still well under $300,000. The weather feels like fall but we're still wanting the sunny days!! My tomato plants have a lot of tomatoes but nothing ripe yet...however, the blueberries are delicious.

Lavendar Festival just ended, the town was a-buzz with activity and we won an original watercolor painting during the art studio tour! The real estate activity has also picked up and I'm ready to help you find a home. Give me a call!

Well, my husband and I just returned from Burlington where our oldest grandchild graduated from high school. What a shock! The weather was beautiful and we all had a fun evening and next day party. It was good to see friends of the family and catch up with all the changing events in life. Speaking of changes, the real estate market continues to perk along although the tax credit really created a bustle of activity in new sales. Sequim still beckens and the weather, while a bit rainier this year, still has plenty to do in the "blue hole". See you at the Lavendar Festival!
